The conflict between the two teams was renewed in the FA Cup final, in its 131st edition in the 2011-2012 season, and the clash came at Wembley Stadium this time.

Chelsea participated in the final for the 11th time, after winning the title 6 times before, and losing the final 4 times.

While Liverpool participated in the final for the 14th time, and had previously won the title 7 times, and lost the final 6 times.

Chelsea managed to pay the debt to Liverpool this time, winning the title after winning (2-1).

The Blues advanced first through Ramires in the 11th minute, and strengthened their lead in the 52nd minute through Drogba, and Andy Carroll reduced the difference for the Reds, in the 64th minute.
